Never Argue With A Fool

Never argue with a fool. That makes two. People looking at at the both of you arguing cannot tell the difference between the both of you.

Never argue with a fool. They are way better than you at being the fool, so they will Beat You Down with their expert experience. It’s hard enough trying to win an argument with an intelligent person, but it damn near impossible trying to win an argument with a fool. Fools have their own special brand of no logic and lack reason so there is no way to reason with one or make sense of their nonsense.

Never argue with a fool because sometimes YOU gotta play the fool to fool the fool into thinking they are fooling you. You gotta pretend you don’t know what you know, so they don’t know that you actually do know, you know? 

Any fool can make things bigger, more complex and more crazy. It takes a touch of genius, a bright spark of clarity plus a huge dose of maturity, and courage, to move in the opposite direction.

You don’t have to attend every argument you have been invited to.

It works out best for us when life is simple. Yet we insist on making it complicated with excuses and lies and complex ways of doing what should be just kept as is. Simple. 

So if you BE the fool? 

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. 

Sometimes, silence is truly golden.
